Service terms and fees

This page sets out what Tentalead charges, to whom and on what basis. Two texts apply depending on your role: the service fees owed by the company and the terms that apply to the business developer, who pays Tentalead no commission.

Company

Signing up, creating a mission and browsing business developers are free. No subscription is offered or required.

When a company contracts with a business developer it was introduced to by Tentalead, service fees are owed to Tentalead. They are calculated on the total compensation, excluding tax, owed to the business developer for the mission: 10 % excluding tax for the first 6 months of the relationship with that same business developer, counted from the start of the first mission, then 5 % excluding tax after that period.

The basis includes fixed fees, day rates, per-meeting or per-lead compensation, bonuses, commissions and other variable compensation tied to the mission. Taxes and professional expenses reimbursed against receipts without markup are excluded.

The business developer invoices the company directly for their work. Tentalead invoices its service fees to the company separately, on the basis of the amounts declared by the business developer and then confirmed by the company. Tentalead collects no money on behalf of the company or of the business developer.

Any mission resulting from an introduction made by Tentalead must be declared on the platform, in line with the applicable terms.

Business developer

Signing up, publishing a profile, applying to missions and the missions obtained through Tentalead are free for the business developer.

Tentalead takes no commission on your compensation. You invoice the company directly for your work and keep the whole of the compensation agreed with it.

In return, any collaboration entered into with a company you were introduced to by Tentalead must be declared on the platform, so that the service can operate and be invoiced.

The financial terms of the mission — fixed fee, day rate, performance-based compensation, bonuses or commissions — must be declared faithfully within the mission. Those amounts, once confirmed by the company, are what the company's service fees are calculated on.

Changes to these terms

Any change to the rate, to the calculation basis or to the billing rules results in a new version of this text, identified by the update date shown at the top of the page. Existing accounts may be asked to accept the new version before their next mission.
